The Good Shepherd Mission is home to over 200 orphans and elderly.

 

The cost of sponsorship for a child or elderly person is only $25 per month.

 Living conditions at Good Shepherd are far superior to life in the villages.  Further schooling is always a possibility with extra funding.

Good Shepherd is the living and breathing embodiment of Matthew 25:35-40.  The words of Christ are alive and at work today thanks to those who lend support through prayer and financial aid. 

 

Housing, 3 meals a day, clothing, and schooling are provided for these people. The love of Jesus Christ is shown to them through the care they receive and through Bible studies. 

 

Brother Henry brings the light of Good Shepherd into the lives of the poor and homeless.  He saves the children, teaches them about Jesus, and the light he provides is absorbed and reflected blindingly to anyone who sees them.  To witness the children assembled in the Ashram, sitting patiently cross legged on the floor, clad in every color of the spectrum is to truly see the face of God.  The children move from the hopelessness and squalor of the darkness into the joy and content and comfort of the light.  They are saved twice, first by Henry and then by Jesus.
